England team are they bored?
The boredom factor has got some legs here. I heard a small section of an interview with Gareth Barry which highlighted that the England squad is playing darts for hours on end for something to do.
This kind of scenario happens when cricketers go to the sub continent; their game and form dips because of the lack of things to do or the restriction on freedom due to potential security issues.
If there were an issue with Capello’s tactics then why did we have a storming qualifying campaign?
It all comes down to mentality and if you are not mentally sharp due to say boredom then you will not perform at your highest level.
Just think about your own personal situation if you are bored then you would not put your best efforts in would you!

England v Algeria 18th June 2010
After Englands so-so start to the World Cup against the USA can they go out on Friday 18th June 2010 and get the result that is needed to kick start their World Cup campaign. To have any type of chance in the rest of the tournament England have to keep a clean sheet and get at least 3 goals on the board. The reason being if England can not get that kind of result against Algeria then they are going to struggle in the later rounds against the higher quality teams in the tournament.

A Statistical World Cup Bet
With the World Cup rapidly approaching the betting industry will be rubbing its hands with glee at the prospect of the patriotic punters who will be putting their money on England to lift the mighty trophy. Although this year England may make the book makers sweat a little bit more than they have done at previous World Cups.
13/2 on England to win the World Cup are the best odds around at the moment and the nearer it gets the shorter the odds will be.
The Bet Teacher has however uncovered a statistical World Cup bet that might take your interest. Currently South Africa are 7/1 to win their group and 21/10 to qualify.
Since the introduction of the group format in 1966 only one host country has failed to qualify from their group and that was USA in 1994.
This is how the rest qualified: Germany 2006 won their group, South Korea + Japan 2002 both won their groups, France 1998 won their group, Itay 1990 won their group, Mexico 1986 won their group, Spain 1982 2nd in their group, Argentina 1978 2nd in their group, West Germany 1974 2nd in their group, Mexico 1970 2nd in their group, Englang 1966 2nd in their group.
If the statistics are right then this may be a bet to have a look at especially as France narrowly scraped through in the play offs and Mexico have lost their last two matches!
